Typical Shift
Your responsibilities will include traveling to the homes of clients, where you will address their unique needs. Tasks may involve light housekeeping, companionship services, accompanying clients to outings and medical appointments, and assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as showering, toileting, medication reminders, grooming, and transfers. Note that you will not perform skilled nursing tasks, such as administering medications or providing therapy. A senior care manager will accompany you during your first assignment to facilitate a smooth introduction to the client.
