Key Responsibilities:
- Work as a Trane Comfort Specialist
- Install residential heating and air conditioning systems in accordance with company standards
- Conduct residential retrofit and changeout installations
- Install gas and refrigeration piping, as well as ductwork and sheet metal
- Install gas and electric furnaces, heat pumps, and related equipment
- Test and balance HVAC systems
- Provide consultation and educate customers regarding the equipment being installed and indoor air quality accessories
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in residential HVAC installation
- EPA Universal Certification
- NATE Specialty Certifications preferred; assistance to obtain will be provided upon employment
- Proficient in HVAC functional design and installation of ductwork systems
- General knowledge of HVAC low voltage systems
- Understanding and application of all applicable codes for residential installations
- Physical capability to lift and carry 100 lbs overhead with assistance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- HVAC Trade School certification is desirable but not required
