This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment with a strong emphasis on floor care. Key responsibilities include operating the scrubber and buffer, as well as performing tasks such as dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning glass and windows. You will adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards while being cross-trained to work in various areas of the store to meet the business’s needs.

  • Exemplify established customer service practices with both internal and external customers.
  • Foster a positive store culture grounded in honesty, integrity, and respect.
  • Maintain cleanliness standards for all floor care and effectively operate the scrubber and buffer.
  • Ensure organizational cleanliness and recovery standards across the entire store, including the Sales Floor, Single Queue, Associate Lounge, Backroom, and Restrooms.
  • Comply with all company policies regarding Health and Safety, including the replenishment of essential items in the Lounge, Restrooms, and Front End.
  • Be proficiently cross-trained in multiple areas of the store (Backroom, Front End, Sales Floor, etc.).
  • Support and assist with Front End coverage as needed.
  • Adhere to merchandising philosophy and compliance with signage standards.
  • Initiate and partake in store recovery throughout the day as required.
  • Follow operational and loss prevention controls in alignment with company guidelines, including strategies for shrink reduction.
  • Communicate effectively and accurately with management and associates.
  • Comply with all labor laws, policies, and procedures, including those related to Associate meal and break periods.
  • Participate in safety initiatives to maintain a secure environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
