Job description:
We are currently seeking enthusiastic candidates for full-time and part-time Cashier positions at the Cleveland Museum of Art, located at 11150 East Boulevard, Cleveland, OH 44106. Please note that applications will be accepted online only.

The schedules for these positions will vary, with opportunities available from Monday through Sunday, which may include weekends and holidays. More specific scheduling details will be provided during the interview process.

While prior experience in customer service, cashiering, or as a barista is preferred, it is not mandatory. The pay rate for this position is $16.85 per hour.

As a Cashier, your primary responsibilities will include:

– Executing sales transactions efficiently.
– Accurately entering all sales data into the cash register to ensure precise recording of purchases.
– Processing cash, card, and change transactions and issuing receipts to customers.
– Adhering to standard procedures for cash refunds.
– Engaging with customers and resolving complaints with a friendly and service-oriented approach.
– Managing assigned change funds and cash receipts to maintain compliance with cash drawer standards.
– Observing customer purchases to accurately determine portion sizes.
– Restocking condiments, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness in service areas.
– Ensuring the pastry case is properly stocked.
– Complying with company service standards as well as inventory and cash control procedures.
– Adhering to all sanitation and safety protocols, including ServSafe standards.
– Performing other related duties as assigned.
