Minimum Requirements:
– Age/Work Authorization: Must be at least 18 years of age or possess the necessary work permit and authorization documents.
– Background Check: Successful completion of a background check is required.
– Attitude and Teamwork: A positive attitude, collaborative spirit, and a commitment to excellence in work are essential.
– Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting (less than 15 pounds).
– Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is required.
– CPR Certification: Preferred; training will be provided for non-certified staff by Rushton Recovery.
– TB Risk Assessment: Required upon hire, with the possibility of additional testing.
– Experience: Prior housekeeping experience is preferred; experience in a related field is also valuable but not mandatory.
– Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities:
– Maintain clear lines of communication with colleagues and supervisors.
– Foster a customer-centered service culture through proactive hospitality.
– Perform cleaning duties in bedrooms, hallways, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
– Ensure that all bathrooms within the facility are consistently clean.
– Execute all laundry responsibilities for Rushton Recovery.
– Safely remove trash and replace receptacles with new bags.
– Sweep, mop, and vacuum as necessary.
– Set up and display appropriate caution/safety signs before commencing any cleaning tasks that may pose safety risks, and remove them upon completion.
– Report any health, safety, or sanitation concerns to the Chief Operating Officer.
– Maintain a clean, attractive, and hazard-free work environment, ensuring that housekeeping supplies are secured when not in use.
– Utilize proper safety and protective equipment when handling hazardous waste or chemicals, and adhere to established policies regarding labels and safety data sheets.
– Interact with clients, staff, and guests in a tactful and friendly manner.
– Assist in evacuating clients in the event of a fire or other emergencies.
