We are currently seeking to hire part-time Food Service Workers to join our team immediately.
The position is located at Caledonia Community Schools, specifically at 8948 Kraft Avenue Southeast, Caledonia, MI 49316. Please note that we only accept online applications for this role.
The work schedule is part-time, from Monday to Friday, with hours ranging from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Additional details regarding scheduling will be provided during the interview process. No prior experience is necessary for applicants.
Compensation for this position ranges from $13.00 to $15.75 per hour. Additionally, we offer an internal employee referral bonus.

Job Summary:
The Food Service Worker is responsible for preparing, presenting, and serving food as necessary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
- Weigh and measure ingredients as directed.
- Transport food items safely between workstations, cooking equipment, and storage areas.
- Store food items appropriately, adhering to wrapping, dating, safety, and rotation protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and utensils.
- Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as required.
- Adhere to approved recipes and production standards to assure quality, proper serving temperatures, and portion control.
- Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner, following established service steps.
- Address customer concerns and communicate relevant information to supervisors.
- Ensure compliance with company service standards, as well as inventory and cash control procedures.
- Maintain adherence to all sanitation and safety guidelines.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
