Warehouse Operations’ Contribution:
The Warehouse Operations team at Cardinal Health is responsible for executing and managing a combination of manual and automated tasks essential for the receipt, storage, and shipment of products. This includes functions such as receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, and delivery. The team ensures the efficient flow of products from vendor receipt to shipment, adhering to prescribed service parameters for both internal and external customers.
About the Consumer Health Logistics Center:
The Consumer Health Logistics Center (CHLC) will serve as Cardinal Health’s latest Pharmaceutical Supply Chain facility, situated in Groveport, Ohio. This state-of-the-art operation spans approximately 350,000 square feet and incorporates the latest innovations in automation technology.
Responsibilities:
– Adhere to established processes to fulfill orders, including accurate product picking, quality control checks, product packing, and order preparation for shipment.
– Engage in cross-training across multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
– Carry out housekeeping and inventory control tasks while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
– Be willing to train and become certified to operate material handling equipment as required. Examples of equipment in the facility include order pickers (cherry pickers), forklifts, reach trucks, turret trucks, pallet jacks, and walkie riders.
Qualifications:

– Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
– Comfortable working at heights of 20-30 feet regularly

– Previous experience with technology, such as computers or point-of-sale systems, is a plus
– High School Diploma or GED preferred
– Basic proficiency in English is required, including the ability to read and write in English for document processing.
