Position Description:
In this role, you will be tasked with performing hardware upgrades and installations, as well as troubleshooting medical devices within a hospital setting, supported by an on-site team. The primary product line you will be working with is infusion pump devices. This position presents an excellent opportunity for you to enhance both your technical and leadership skills. Previous experience in healthcare, field service, engineering, biomedical maintenance, customer service, electronics, electrical work, or IT is advantageous.

Job Requirements:

• A background in Biomedical and/or Computer Engineering is preferred.
• A valid, unrestricted driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
• Proficiency with basic software programs and the Microsoft operating system, including experience with Excel spreadsheets, is essential.
• Ability to assemble and disassemble equipment and devices is necessary.
• Candidates must be able to sit and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities:

• Organize, test, and update medical devices, including the installation and configuration of hardware, software, and network products.
• Set up and organize equipment and workstations effectively.
• Perform routine checks and record data from product tests following installation and configuration.
• Supervise a team of support staff and manage project timelines to meet customer needs.
• This per-diem position may require regional or national travel across the United States.

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $20 to $30, commensurate with experience. Please note that compliance with client requirements may necessitate that all individuals performing services on-site be fully vaccinated.
