Job Description
Job Title: Maintenance Engineer II
Company: Marriott
Location: Detroit, MI
Pay: $24.07 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $24.07 for a “Maintenance Engineer II” in Detroit, MI, appears to be on the lower end of the typical salary range for this role when considering local labor market conditions and industry standards. As of 2023, Maintenance Engineers II in comparable positions often earn between $25 to $40 per hour, depending on experience, specific industry, and company size. Factors such as the cost of living in Detroit and prevailing wages for similar roles in manufacturing, facilities management, or engineering sectors suggest that while $24.07 may be a starting point for entry-level positions or those with minimal experience, it may not be competitive for more experienced professionals in the field. Therefore, candidates with significant experience or specialized skills might seek higher compensation.
