Responsibilities
As a local Delivery Representative, you will be instrumental in delivering propane to our customers while upholding the highest standards of safety and customer satisfaction. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Operating a propane delivery truck safely along designated routes
  • Filling residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane
  • Delivering propane cylinders to commercial and industrial clients
  • Conducting all daily activities in a safe manner, in compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, as well as AmeriGas safety and operational procedures
  • Consistently utilizing required Personal Protective Equipment
  • Adapting to fluctuating demands with 8 to 12-hour shifts as necessary

Requirements

  • Valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Successful completion of a DOT physical, drug test, and background check
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
