Job Description
Job Title: Bartender, Detroit Airport
Company: Delaware North
Location: Detroit, MI
Pay: $13.2 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $13.20 for a bartender position at Detroit Airport is relatively low when compared to industry standards. As of 2023, bartenders in metropolitan areas like Detroit typically earn between $15 to $20 per hour, depending on experience and the specific establishment, with tips accounting for a significant portion of a bartender’s income. Additionally, considering Michigan’s minimum wage, which is higher than this rate, it suggests that this offering may not be competitive, especially given the high cost of living and increased economic demands present in the hospitality industry. Thus, this rate could struggle to attract qualified candidates seeking fair compensation.
