The Spirit of the Position:

The Events Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing garage operations under the supervision of the General Manager, ensuring professional parking management is maintained 24/7. In alignment with our culture of employee-focused servant leadership, the Events Facility Manager will support home office initiatives while addressing the individual needs of operational teams within the designated location (Arena District).

Principal Job Duties:
– Lead, direct, and develop a team to achieve annual and periodic goals, while exemplifying LAZ Parking’s corporate culture.
– Identify high-potential employees to foster organizational growth.
– Manage payroll processing, ensuring timely sign-off on hours and collaborating with the local payroll department to ensure accurate pay data; work with the Human Resources Manager to uphold wage and hour compliance.
– Oversee financial management of assigned locations to ensure budget adherence and implement revenue improvement strategies.
– Cultivate client relationships to promote business retention.
– Mentor Assistant Managers and Team Leaders in parking management best practices.
– Understand, implement, and fulfill all contractual obligations between LAZ Parking and our clients.
– Prepare and produce daily, weekly, monthly, and annual financial and operational reports as required.
– Maximize revenue and customer satisfaction by maintaining exemplary service standards and initiatives aligned with client expectations.
– Plan, schedule, train, and direct the activities of frontline staff to ensure optimal staffing levels.
– Implement additional projects, programs, and initiatives as they arise in the assigned location(s).
– Liaise with local police departments and emergency management teams concerning operations.
– Organize and oversee event operations within LAZ Parking.
– Complete other projects, programs, and initiatives as needed.
– Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education:
– Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

Experience:
– A minimum of 3 years in a management role.
– Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and general Microsoft Office applications.

Skills:
– Preferred parking management experience, though not required.
– Ability to drive improvement and foster an environment of idea sharing and creative problem solving.
– Strong customer service skills.
– Approachability and capability to facilitate coaching conversations with employees and managers.
