Job description:

This position reports to the KLA Service and US Operations Business Unit, which is dedicated to delivering an exceptional customer experience in IT Services. In this role, you will collaborate with various teams both locally and globally to resolve technical issues and contribute to projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Executive Support: Deliver dedicated IT support to executives, ensuring their technological requirements are met promptly and efficiently.
  • Event Management: Coordinate and manage IT support for corporate events, including setup, troubleshooting, and ensuring seamless operations.
  • Act as the liaison for IT regarding projects and initiatives in the Ann Arbor office.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of local site support, including managing a small data center with network and security appliances, as well as a limited number of local servers.
  • Report incidents and issues to the central helpdesk while providing local assistance as needed, including resolving ServiceNow requests and incidents.
  • Technical Assistance: Provide technical assistance and training to executives and KLA users on various software and hardware.
  • System Maintenance: Maintain and update IT systems for optimal performance and security. Assist with preventive maintenance and upgrades of audiovisual (AV) systems and components, both hardware and software.
  • Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with external vendors to fulfill event-related IT requirements and services, overseeing repair and installation tasks.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT processes and event setups.
  • Project Management: Support IT projects related to executive support and event management. Collaborate with other KLA functional teams and multiple vendors on the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of key AV platforms in conference rooms and large event spaces.
  • Build and leverage cross-functional relationships to gather ideas, data, and insights to drive continuous improvement in operational functions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a related field, with four (4) years of experience, or six (6) years of equivalent experience in IT support within a professional environment.
  • Strong expertise in AV systems and event support.
  • Advanced knowledge of PCs, operating systems, and mobile devices.
  • Understanding of network security and the ServiceNow platform.
  • Excellent documentation skills, including end-user instruction writing.
  • Proven experience working with C-level executives.

Base Pay Range: $68,900.00 – $117,100.00 Annually
