Job Description
Job Title: Caregiver/Med Tech
Company: Homestead
Location: Chesterfield, MI
Pay: $15 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $15 for a “Caregiver/Med Tech” position in Chesterfield, MI, is below the national average for similar roles, which typically range from $16 to $20 per hour depending on experience and specific job responsibilities. Factors such as state minimum wage laws (which in Michigan is higher than $15 as of late 2023), the cost of living in the area, and the growing demand for healthcare workers suggest that this rate may not be competitive. In the context of the industry, particularly for roles that involve administration of medications and personal care, offering a higher wage could attract more qualified candidates and reduce turnover rates.
