At Home Instead in Clawson, you will take on the role of a Care Professional (Care Pro), elevating your contribution beyond that of a traditional caregiver.
We are seeking dedicated part-time and full-time Care Pros who are available on weekdays and weekends. Acknowledging the value of your time, we require shifts to last a minimum of four hours and employ block scheduling to ensure dependable and consistent assignments for our Care Pros.
Your responsibilities will commence with traveling to the home of your assigned client. Given the diverse needs of our clients, we align Care Professionals’ skills with their specific requirements. Duties may include light housekeeping, providing companionship, accompanying clients to outings and medical appointments, assisting with showers, toileting, medication reminders, dressing, grooming, oral care, escorting, transferring, and performing other activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs) as needed. Please note that skilled nursing tasks such as administering medications, injections, wound care, or therapy are not part of your role. You will collaborate closely with our Registered Nurse to deliver the highest standard of care to seniors in our community.
