Job description:

Join our team as a Senior Human Resources (HR) Manager, where you will act as a key liaison, providing support to department managers, employees, and prospective employees across all facets of employment. This includes recruitment, retention, training, counseling, compensation, and employee benefits. You will also assist the HR Director in coordinating departmental functions.

Compensation:
Salary is commensurate with experience, starting at $90,000 per year.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Facilitate and participate in meetings and conference calls in the absence of the HR Director.
  • Coordinate statistical reporting and act as a liaison with the HRIS department.
  • Prepare the monthly Executive Summary and Quarterly Report.
  • Assist the HR Director in budget planning.
  • Collaborate with the Communications Team to maintain effective communication with employees through the monthly newsletter, bulletin boards, and Employee TV Channel.
  • Serve as an advocate for employees experiencing job-related issues, providing consulting and support.
  • Partner with line managers and supervisors to address employee relation matters.
  • Facilitate the recruitment and selection process, ensuring the best candidates are chosen for each position.
  • Oversee and manage the new employee hiring process and deliver the New Employee Orientation, ensuring materials remain current.
  • Aid in the development and interpretation of policies and programs.
  • Design and deliver management training and employee workshops.
  • Ensure compliance with EEOC, FMLA, ADA, and OSHA regulations.
  • Administer and monitor employee benefits plans, including health, EAP, tuition reimbursement, and retirement programs, enhancing understanding of these offerings through effective communication.
  • Organize development programs and employee events.
  • Oversee the employee appraisal process.
  • Generate management information reports from the HRIS as requested by clients.
  • Perform additional duties as needed, adapting to the evolving business needs of each community.

What You Will Need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant human resources experience.
  • Preference for candidates with PHR or SPHR certification.
  • Excellent multitasking abilities.
