Job Description
Job Title: Direct Support Professional – Full-Time Childcare Support
Company: Help at Home
Location: Canton, MI
Pay: $15 – 16 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $15 – $16 for a “Direct Support Professional – Full-Time Childcare Support” role in Canton, MI, is generally considered on the lower end of the compensation spectrum for this position. As of late 2023, typical hourly wages for direct support professionals in Michigan usually range from $14 to $20, depending on factors such as experience, certifications, and the specific needs of the job. In suburban areas like Canton, where the cost of living is moderate, the offered rate may fall short of what many candidates may expect, especially considering the demanding nature of the work, which often requires patience, specialized training, and emotional resilience. Therefore, while competitive at the lower end of the spectrum, it may not attract a wide pool of qualified candidates without additional benefits or incentives.
