Ready to support one of the leading office supply brands in the nation? We are seeking skilled furniture assemblers who will be responsible for assembling products in customers’ homes as well as servicing stores of this renowned chain every three weeks. An outstanding showroom experience will enhance assembly orders, and cultivating a strong relationship with the store manager will be essential for expanding your opportunities in the market. Proficient cross-selling abilities will play a crucial role in your success in this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute in-home assembly assignments with precision and care
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting of completed work
  • Perform furniture repairs as needed
  • Assemble Ready-to-Assemble (RTA) furniture
  • Assemble grills and exercise equipment, among other products
  • Take inventory and identify missing items from the sales floor
  • Anchor displays to ensure customer safety
  • Conduct minor assembly repairs to furniture
  • Clean and vacuum furniture pads
  • Assemble RTA furniture for display areas
  • Document and report your work using a phone, tablet, or computer
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers

Requirements:

  • Reliable transportation to travel 30–60 miles to multiple locations on a daily basis (depending on the market)
  • Basic tool set required in specific markets
  • Effective communication skills for interactions with customers, team members, and management (improved communication leads to more shifts)
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the workday
  • Flexible availability, including hours between 8 AM and 5 PM, with occasional weekends and evenings
  • Ability to read and interpret diagrams or instructions and to use hand and power tools effectively
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
