Responsibilities

  • Execute janitorial tasks as outlined in the daily schedule.
  • Operate motorized cleaning equipment effectively.
  • Maintain the daily upkeep of assigned areas.
  • Report incidents and hazardous conditions to the supervisor promptly.
  • Adhere to safety rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Proactively address unsafe behaviors in oneself and others.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete work assignments.
  • Perform repetitive tasks while maintaining a clean work area.
  • Follow company protocols, procedures, and rules diligently.
  • Take direction and respond positively to supervision.
  • Communicate professionally with leads, supervisors, coworkers, managers, and customers.
  • Assist in covering shifts during staff shortages.
  • Support the shift lead in completing punch-list items.
  • Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment as required.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
  • Understand and prioritize customer service and satisfaction.
  • Be familiar with reporting systems and the work environment.

Qualifications

  • A valid driver’s license may be required.
  • Completion of all safety and task training certifications is essential.
  • Forklift certification may be required.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment, with a willingness to share expertise with team members.
  • Understanding of the maintenance and care of cleaning equipment.
  • Familiarity with cleaning compounds and chemicals, along with their safe and effective use.
  • While there is no specific educational requirement, 3-6 months of training or experience is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation: $15.00 – $16.00 per hour
Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Saturday, Sunday), 5:00 PM – 11:30 PM (Saturday, Sunday)
