Morrison Living is actively seeking full-time Waiter/Waitress professionals to join our team.

• Location: Beaumont Commons – 16351 Rotunda, Dearborn, MI 48120.
• Schedule: Full-time schedule available from Saturday through Sunday. Hours may vary; more details will be provided during the interview process.
• Requirement: Previous serving experience is preferred.
• Compensation: $15.99 per hour.

Position Summary: As a vital member of our culinary team, you will take food and beverage orders and seamlessly deliver items to our dining room guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and promptly in the dining room; take food and beverage orders efficiently, adhering to established service protocols.
• Deliver food with professionalism and timeliness while maintaining safe food handling and hygiene standards. Regularly check in with guests to address any additional needs or requests.
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of menu items and ingredients, making recommendations for food and beverage pairings when asked. Accommodate guests’ preferences and dietary restrictions, including knowledge of allergens.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order delivery and address special requests.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills and foster positive relationships with guests and team members. Maintain flexibility and patience during interactions.
• Handle tickets and follow proper cash management procedures.
• Promote and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for guests.
• Respect and protect the confidentiality of personal or medical information shared by guests.
• Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and communicate relevant information to a supervisor.
• Prepare the dining room prior to service and ensure cleanliness and organization post-service, abiding by sanitation standards.
• Operate various equipment, including fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage dispensers, and coffee machines.
• Collaborate with other departments to fulfill job responsibilities during special events and functions.
• Perform additional duties as required.
