Job description:
As a Server at SSP America, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the dining experience for our guests at various restaurants throughout the Detroit Metro Wayne County Airport. We proudly feature a diverse array of local favorites including Max & Erma’s, Coffee Beanery, Chili’s, Andiamo, Sora, Corridor, and many more.

Key responsibilities include:

– Providing knowledgeable answers and thoughtful recommendations regarding our food and beverage offerings, as well as the services available.
– Accurately processing customer orders through our Point of Sale (POS) system.
– Preparing dishes for service, which includes tasks such as ladling soup, tossing salads, cutting portions of pie and desserts, and brewing coffee.
– Observing and anticipating guest needs while responding promptly to additional requests.
– Efficiently clearing tables after guests have completed their meals.
– Balancing and reconciling all assigned open and closed checks, including totaling bills and accepting payments.
– Clearing and resetting tables or counters at the conclusion of each course to maintain a clean and inviting environment.
