Location: East Lansing, MI

Pay: $15 – 16 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $15 – $16 for a part-time Food Service Worker/Cashier in East Lansing, MI, is generally competitive and aligns well with industry standards for entry-level positions in the food service sector within this region. As of late 2023, the typical pay range for similar roles often falls between $13 to $18 per hour, influenced by factors such as location, experience, and employer type. Given the cost of living in East Lansing, including factors like rent and general expenses for students and residents, this pay range is reasonable, especially for part-time work. Overall, while it may not be the highest possible rate, it is consistent with market expectations and should attract a suitable pool of candidates.
