NBCUniversal’s Advertising Platforms & Operations team is dedicated to the product development, project management, and daily operations of NBCUniversal’s comprehensive advertising technology suite, which supports a robust $8 billion annual advertising business serving both internal and external clients.
Within this dynamic environment, the Programmatic Ad Operations team operates as a close-knit, fast-paced group responsible for executing programmatic guaranteed and private marketplace deals on both domestic and global scales. The Programmatic Sales Operations Campaign Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the complete lifecycle of programmatic deals, which includes deal creation, modifications, and ensuring that digital assets adhere to specifications throughout the duration of the campaign.
The Programmatic Sales Operations team collaborates closely with the planning and sales teams to ensure advertising campaigns not only run smoothly but also exceed client expectations. We are seeking a detail-oriented, technically proficient problem-solver with exemplary customer service skills and leadership capabilities to join our team.
Responsibilities include:
– Identifying technical issues with bids for both guaranteed and non-guaranteed deal types and collaborating with relevant cross-functional teams to facilitate timely resolutions.
– Leading live troubleshooting calls with clients in partnership with the Campaign Manager.
– Participating in weekly POD meetings to ensure alignment among sales, planning, and operations.
– Establishing regular reporting to identify trends related to creative failures among various ad distributors/DSPs.
– Pursuing a deeper understanding of the programmatic ecosystem to better support internal and external partners.
– Directly interacting with the Programmatic Sales Team and clients to ensure effective campaign fulfillment.
– Demonstrating advanced knowledge of programmatic deal setup across various SSPs, including FreeWheel and Google Ad Manager.
– Managing the Sports Programmatic business and supporting live sports events, including weekends.
– Demonstrating self-motivation and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
– Effectively multitasking and managing priorities while maintaining organization and attention to detail.
Qualifications include:
– A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
– A minimum of two years of experience in Digital Sales Operations.
– A solid understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem.
Eligibility Requirements:
– Unrestricted work authorization in the United States.
– Willingness to work in the entertainment media industry, with availability during weekends for live event support.
– Candidates must be 18 years or older.
Desired Characteristics:
– Exceptional client relationship and interpersonal skills.
– Prior experience with trafficking in DSPs and/or SSPs is preferred.
– Interest in DSP nuances is a plus.
– Proficiency in digital media terminology: impressions, CTR, CPMs, eCPMs, etc.
– Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
– Detail-oriented and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
This position is designated as hybrid, which generally requires a minimum of three in-office days per week.
