Delaware North Travel is seeking a full-time Bartender to join our dedicated team at Detroit Airport in Detroit, Michigan. In this role, you will be responsible for serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly, while delivering an exceptional guest experience. What will you do?
– Fulfill drink orders from guests and servers, process payments, and provide accurate change
– Mix beverages according to established recipes and standardized proportions
– Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly by verifying identification and adhering to all alcohol service policies
– Accurately complete sales and inventory reports
– Maintain bar stock by ordering liquors, beverages, condiments, and supplies
More about you
– Must be at least 18 years old
– Minimum of 1-2 years of front-of-house experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant setting
– Experience in cash handling and credit card processing
– Previous experience with computerized point-of-sale systems
Physical requirements
– Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and performing repetitive motions
– Ability to lift stock up to 50 pounds occasionally
– Exposure to moderate to high noise levels during busy periods
