Job description:

When patients arrive at our outpatient physical therapy center in Cincinnati, we strive to provide them with an exceptional experience, beginning at the front desk. As a Patient Service Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing both the patient and business aspects of our center. Your contributions will significantly enhance each patient’s care experience, even before they leave the waiting room.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and register patients, providing detailed information about what to expect during their visit and the next appointment as they check out.
  • Schedule patient appointments both in person and over the phone.
  • Maintain regular communication with key parties, including attorney offices, insurance companies, translation services, market operational leaders, and the business development team.
  • Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Qualifications:

Minimum:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred:

  • At least 1 year of front desk experience.
  • Experience within the healthcare field.
