As a caregiver, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting residents with daily living activities, including transfers in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
  • Ensuring the cleanliness of the environment, which may involve light housekeeping.
  • Adhering to all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
  • Monitoring changes in residents’ conditions and promptly communicating concerns to your supervisor.
  • Administering medications and injections in accordance with prescribed medical charts.
  • Following the established schedule to assist residents with repositioning.
  • Documenting all medications in compliance with procedures.
  • Exercising sound judgment in providing care and ensuring resident safety.
  • Collaborating with team members to fulfill responsibilities.
  • Completing all required documentation and charting.
  • Responding to call lights and assessing residents’ needs.
  • Obtaining meal trays and assisting residents with dining.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Successfully pass a criminal background check.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Availability to work every other weekend.
