The Maintenance Mechanic plays a vital role in supporting the operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems in designated facilities. This position collaborates with Team Members and Mobile Engineers on maintenance and repair initiatives while also executing defined tasks independently. Responsibilities include performing inspections and repairs to both the interior and exterior of assigned properties, encompassing HVAC units, boilers, cooling towers, walls and flooring, installed fixtures, roofing systems, and lighting.

Key Responsibilities:
– Execute ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other installed systems and equipment.
– Conduct facility inspections and due diligence, reporting on conditions affecting client occupancy and operational satisfaction.
– Perform general interior maintenance tasks, such as hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, repairing office furniture systems, and fixing doors.
– Assist the operations team with building and equipment maintenance and repairs as directed.
– Relocate office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as requested.
– Replace lighting fixtures and ballasts.
– Clean HVAC coils and change filters and belts.
– Complete additional tasks as assigned.
– Conduct Hazard Assessments as necessary.
– Adhere to all safety protocols, ensuring cleanliness and safety in work areas while identifying potential hazards and proposing solutions to mitigate them.
– Ensure compliance with State, County, or City ordinances, codes, or laws.
– Follow policies related to the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
– Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license (if mobile).
– Submit P-card receipts and update work order statuses in real time utilizing CMMS systems such as Corrigo.
– Perform vehicle safety inspections.
– Escalate issues or concerns to supervisors and customers promptly.
– Participate in work and safety meetings as required.
– Undertake any additional duties or tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent.
– Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in general building repair and maintenance, including basic plumbing and electrical skills.
– Possession of any required licenses as determined by regulatory authorities.
– Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and climb ladders up to 30 feet high.
– Role requires frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and driving.
