Help us transform possibilities and create a significant impact in the lives of individuals with Autism! Bittersweet, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing residential, vocational, and recreational services to individuals with autism.
Bittersweet Farms is currently seeking a Part-Time Marketing Coordinator to assist our Development Director in planning, developing, and maintaining a comprehensive marketing, social media, public relations, and branding program.
Job Type: Part-Time – 3 days per week in-office (up to 24 hours weekly)
Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour (Bi-weekly)

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent experience
Skills:
- Develop, oversee, and manage content creation, social media, and digital advertising strategies across multiple platforms and Bittersweet Farms’ locations: Whitehouse, Pemberville, and Lima.
- Collaborate closely with the Development Director to plan, develop, and execute a comprehensive social media, marketing, communications, and public relations strategy for Bittersweet, Inc.
- Manage and create content for Bittersweet’s social media channels.
- Uphold and protect the branding policies established by the organization.
- Oversee the development, distribution, and maintenance of all print and electronic marketing materials that communicate, inform, and persuade.
- Coordinate volunteer opportunities.
- Stay informed about the external environment relating to organizations serving individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Maintain communication with staff regarding programs and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational skills; disciplined and capable of meeting deadlines; self-starter who can work under pressure with multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask across several projects in various locations.
- Proficient in computer skills; experience with fundraising software preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Photoshop.
Experience:
- Marketing: 2 years (Required)
- Social Media Management: 2 years (Required)
- Event Planning: 1 year (Required)
Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License with the ability to be insured.
- High School Diploma / GED.
