Currently, we have openings for the midnight shift, from 10 PM to 6 AM. We offer career progression starting you as a caregiver, with the potential for training to become a Med Tech.

As a caregiver at Homestead, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
  • Maintaining a clean environment, which may involve light housekeeping tasks.
  • Complying with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
  • Monitoring changes in residents’ conditions and promptly communicating with supervisors.
  • Administering medications and injections as per medical charts.
  • Assisting residents with repositioning according to their schedules.
  • Following procedures for documenting medications accurately.
  • Exercising sound judgment in ensuring client care and safety.
  • Collaborating with team members in fulfilling their responsibilities.
  • Completing all required documentation and charting duties.
  • Responding to call lights and assessing residents’ needs.
  • Assisting with meal trays and supporting residents during meals.
  • Performing any additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Availability to work every other weekend.
