Basic Job Functions:
The incumbent will perform day-to-day reliability operations and testing in the Reliability Lab, ensuring that products meet performance and warranty commitments while withstanding ambient outdoor exposure extremes. Support will be provided to Reliability Engineers through multi-task assignments related to second source supplier qualifications, product reliability monitoring, product/process qualification programs, and test/equipment development.

Education/Experience:
– Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Electrical preferred) OR
– Associate’s degree or equivalent in a technical discipline (Electrical preferred) OR
– High School diploma with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment.
– Calibration, testing, or measurement experience is a plus.

Required Skills/Competencies:
– Proficient in using tools and operating equipment.
– Ability to learn the basic operation of simulators.

Essential Responsibilities:
– Conduct baseline and post-test measurements for all standard reliability tests.
– Safely operate all standard reliability stress test equipment.
– Process warranty returns efficiently.
– Perform data entry for reliability testing.
– Ensure timely completion of all tests and measurements according to the schedule.
– Communicate any abnormal findings related to products or testing equipment immediately.
– Willingness to work long hours and weekends as necessary to support testing or measurement activities.
– Adhere to all safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping standards.
– Assist with additional tasks or job assignments as directed by the supervisor.
– Identify durability and stability defects, communicating them to the appropriate personnel for Level 1 failure analysis and troubleshooting.
– Recognize and report instances of incorrect testing, suggesting root causes or action plans.
– Train new technicians in module testing, measurements, and safe handling procedures.
– Consistently utilize efficient and effective methods to deliver quality test results.

Reporting Relationships:
– Reports to the Supervisor, Lab Operations.

Travel:
– 0-5% travel required.

Estimated Hourly Range:
– $18.89 – $26.44 per hour.

U.S. Physical Requirements:
– Capable of sitting, standing, or walking short distances for up to 12 hours per day.
– Occasional climbing of stairs.
– Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force to lift, push, or pull on rare occasions.
– Frequent lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 27 pounds.
– Occasional lifting up to 51 pounds according to work instructions.
