We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Semi Auto Gluer Operator on the 2nd shift (1 opening) at our Akron, OH facility, with an hourly rate of $20.42.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a team to enhance productivity, minimize downtime, and reduce waste within the manufacturing operation.
  • Set up, operate, and feed machinery, as well as handle the stacking of boxes.
  • Engage actively in general plant and facilities-related tasks.
  • Adhere to all company safety protocols and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
  • Uphold cleanliness and organization of the shop and equipment in accordance with 5S standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • May be required to stack parts weighing up to 30 lbs. for extended periods, potentially up to 12 hours.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
  • Ability to sit, stoop, and bend as needed.
  • Willingness to work overtime and on weekends as necessary.
  • Availability for the 2nd shift.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a packaging or manufacturing environment is advantageous.
