Job description:

As a part-time associate, you will be responsible for sampling products for suppliers within a Sam’s Club location. Product Demonstrators play a vital role in introducing customers to new and exciting items and brands through product tasting events and demonstrations. While experience in customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cash handling, stocking, or as a brand ambassador is advantageous, it is not a requirement.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers to effectively communicate key product points.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards while preparing samples (including cooking, processing, plating, and serving).
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets for the products.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years old (applicants for Alcohol and Production roles must be 18 or older).
• Weekend availability (Friday through Sunday) is preferred; holiday and weekday shifts are also available.
• Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on days worked.
• Capability to safely operate appliances such as microwaves, toaster ovens, and hot plates.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the event.

Work Environment:
You will experience moderate to high noise levels typical of a retail grocery warehouse setting, along with some exposure to cold refrigerated areas, food products, and cleaning chemicals.
