Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated Caregiver to join our team. In this essential role, you will positively impact the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by enhancing their overall quality of life. Your responsibilities will include assisting with activities of daily living, engaging in small group activities and crafts, supporting hygiene needs, dispensing medication, and leading community outings and volunteer opportunities, thereby helping individuals to Live Life to the Fullest.

Responsibilities

  • Transport individuals to our centers and community outings
  • Facilitate small group and skill-building activities
  • Document progress toward individual goals
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Assist with mobility, hygiene, and meal preparation
  • Support medication administration
  • Perform light cleaning as needed

Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or in a similar role is preferred
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR
  • Knowledge of basic housekeeping practices and cooking skills
  • Ability to comply with all health and safety guidelines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with creativity and enthusiasm
  • Capability to lift up to fifty pounds
