Your role.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Gathering requirements from client stakeholders
  • Architecting client data and analytics environments
  • Designing, developing, and deploying data warehouses
  • Conducting advanced SQL scripting and data engineering
  • Facilitating the conceptual and logical data modeling process
  • Developing advanced ETL processes and data pipelines
  • Performing API integration, deployment, and support
  • Creating and deploying reports and BI solutions
  • Mentoring and coaching less experienced staff
  • Participating in firm and client innovation projects
  • Supporting practice development activities
  • Assisting with project management

The qualifications.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
  • 2+ years of experience in data engineering and analytics deployment
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges
  • Capable of managing multiple concurrent data development projects
  • Hands-on experience with SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Fabric, or similar ETL technologies
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (Fabric, Synapse, AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks)
  • Familiarity with configuring, deploying, or administering a cloud data platform is desirable
  • Strong SQL skills (e.g., stored procedures, CTEs, window functions, DDL/DML)
  • Experience in developing and deploying Python ETL scripts and APIs is a plus
  • Background in the construction and/or manufacturing industry is advantageous
  • Microsoft SQL Server/Azure/Fabric certification(s) is a plus
  • Experience developing reports using BI tools
  • Approximately 20% overnight travel required

Salary
We offer a robust benefits package for eligible staff, with varying eligibility and contribution requirements based on weekly work hours. Compensation is commensurate with technical skills and experience, in accordance with applicable state requirements. Compensation information is based on the position being located in Colorado or Illinois.
