With an upscale, contemporary menu set in a casual atmosphere, our restaurant is perfect for business lunches, evening outings, and everything in between. Job Responsibilities:

  • Menu and Food Preparation: Assist in food preparation and cooking for both the restaurant and company catering functions. Propose innovative ideas for new recipes and seasonal menu items. Rotate through grill, sauté, fry, and cold food stations, responsible for prepping each station at the beginning of your shift and ensuring adequate supplies are available to meet anticipated demand. Work efficiently to produce high-quality dishes and maintain cleanliness through prompt clean-up and station resetting.
  • Food Expeditor: Set up the expo station with all necessary hot and cold food items, plateware, ingredients, garnishes, and supplies required for effective operation. Expedite dishes quickly and efficiently while keeping a clean and orderly workstation. Report any issues to the Chef promptly and communicate with line cooks and servers to ensure that all food items are prepared and served at the appropriate time.
  • Quality and Health/Safety Regulations: Maintain food quality standards throughout the dining room and during catering events. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring the kitchen, prep areas, and equipment are clean and sanitized. Demonstrate positive personal hygiene and cleanliness habits during all shifts.
  • Miscellaneous Duties: Assist with unloading and organizing supplies, and perform other assigned tasks as needed.

Compensation: Starting at $17.39/hr, with potential to earn up to $20.87/hr.

Qualifications:

  • Fewer than 2 years of relevant experience required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including daytime, evenings, weekends (excluding Sundays), and holidays.
  • Preference for candidates aged 18 and older.
  • Previous restaurant experience in grill, sauté, fry, and cold food stations is preferred.
