We are seeking a dedicated part-time Housekeeper to join our team immediately. This position is located at Henry Ford River District Hospital, 4100 South River Road, East China, MI 48054. Please note that applications are accepted online only.

Job Summary:
As a Housekeeper, you will perform light cleaning duties to uphold a clean and orderly environment in establishments including hotels, restaurants, and hospitals. Responsibilities include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and hallways, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional customer service by providing attentive and personalized care.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empty and sanitize trash containers.
• Dispose of waste appropriately.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipe down glass surfaces.
• Make beds and change linens as needed.
• Realign furniture and amenities per layout guidelines.
• Address guest inquiries and requests.
• Respond promptly to housekeeping issues, such as spills or broken items.
• Collaborate with team members and maintain professionalism with customers and colleagues.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
