Job Summary
This is a full-time position requiring one weekend day of work. Shift hours are 6 AM to 2 PM or 7 AM to 3 PM.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting members, prospective members, and guests.
- Manage all front desk activities, including but not limited to:
- Answering phone calls in a friendly manner and assisting callers with various inquiries.
- Checking IDs and member barcodes into the system.
- Facilitating new member sign-ups.
- Conducting tours of the club for prospective members.
- Assisting with necessary updates to members’ accounts.
- Timely and professionally responding to member questions and concerns, escalating issues to the Assistant Club Manager as needed.
- Maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
- Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of the facility.
- Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, locker rooms, fitness equipment, and gym floors.
- Stocking locker rooms with necessary supplies and paper products.
- Reporting any broken or missing amenities or equipment to the Club Manager.
- Adhering to the "Lost and Found Policy" and promptly turning in lost member property to the Club Manager or Assistant Club Manager.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Preferred background in customer service.
- Basic proficiency in computer applications.

- Strong punctuality and reliability.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and co-workers, consistently exceeding members’ expectations.

- Demonstrated diplomacy in all interactions, employing appropriate behavior and language.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Physical Demands
- Continual standing and walking throughout the shift.
- Frequent verbal communication with members, along with answering incoming membership calls.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Utilization of cleaning chemicals during shifts.
- Cleaning and sanitizing commonly used equipment and surfaces within the club.
- Continuous monitoring of the club and assisting members throughout the entirety of the shift.
