Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing compassionate companionship and assisting residents with daily activities, including transferring, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
  • Administering medications and injections to residents according to physicians’ orders documented in medical records.
  • Maintaining a clean environment, which may involve light housekeeping duties.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and health standards, including rigorous infection control protocols.
  • Monitoring changes in residents’ conditions and promptly communicating any updates to the supervisor.
  • Following established schedules while assisting residents with repositioning.
  • Accurately documenting medication administration in accordance with prescribed procedures.
  • Exercising sound judgment in client care and ensuring safety.
  • Assisting fellow team members with their responsibilities as needed.
  • Responding to call lights and assessing residents’ needs in a timely manner.
  • Obtaining meal trays and providing assistance during mealtime.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Experience in medication administration and working with seniors.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Availability to work every other weekend is required.
