Overview:
Deliver exceptional guest service to ensure a positive experience for every visitor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accurately receive and visually inspect guest checks, closing them using the correct payment method (cash, credit card, or house charge).
  • Assess guest satisfaction and tactfully address any concerns.
  • Adhere to accounting guidelines for payment receipt, check verification, tip disbursement, and cash drawer management.
  • Balance the house bank at the end of each shift, ensuring accountability through proper retrieval and return procedures.
  • Maintain regular attendance and availability for scheduled shifts.
  • Perform any additional job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Basic mathematical skills required for cash register operations, making change, totaling guest checks, counting bank totals, preparing cash drops, and understanding portion sizes relative to pricing.
  • Ability to effectively manage and resolve conflict situations, such as discrepancies in check totals.
  • Proficiency in keyboard operation and Point of Sale procedures, with the capability to sit or stand and work continuously in confined spaces, with or without reasonable accommodation.
