Job description:

We are seeking to fill both full-time and part-time HOUSEKEEPER positions immediately.

The position is located at Henry Ford Providence Novi Hospital, 47601 Grand River Avenue, Novi, MI 48374. Please note that applications are accepted online only.

Job Summary:
This position entails performing light cleaning duties to ensure establishments, including hotels, restaurants, and hospitals, remain clean and orderly. Responsibilities include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and hallways, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by attending to details.
  • Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
  • Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
  • Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
  • Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
  • Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
  • Empty and clean trash containers, disposing of waste responsibly.
  • Clean washbasins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
  • Wipe down glass surfaces.
  • Make beds and change linens as necessary.
  • Realign furniture and amenities according to established layouts.
  • Address guest inquiries and requests.
  • Respond to housekeeping issues, such as spills and broken glass.
  • Collaborate with team members, maintaining professionalism with customers and colleagues.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
