Schedule: Full-time, Second Shift
As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will assist the Food and Beverage Manager in overseeing front-of-house operations, while ensuring adherence to Suburban Inns’ Core Values, brand standards, and local health regulations.

Essential Functions:
- Maintain a professional appearance and attire, ensuring cleanliness and neatness
- Warmly greet all guests, fostering a friendly atmosphere and making personal connections to enhance their experience
- Participate in hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating team members, while supervising staff and enforcing policies as necessary
- Assist with point-of-sale (POS) system operations, including staff training, report generation, and menu modifications
- Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, energy management, and preventive maintenance standards
- Confirm that restaurant and banquet functions are adequately staffed in line with approved schedules
- Monitor labor costs and assist with timekeeping and payroll processing, including managing tip sharing when applicable
- Collaborate with Sales to coordinate food, beverage, and service for booked events, including setup and breakdown of banquet areas
- Ensure consistent compliance with legal regulations, including wage and hour laws and alcohol-related legislation (TIPS, ServSafe, etc.)
- Regularly inspect front-of-house service areas to maintain high sanitation and safety standards, utilizing Quore as necessary
- Assist in overseeing purchasing and receiving procedures for products and supplies to maintain quality and cost-effectiveness
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the food and beverage menu, including preparation methods and garnishing techniques
- Ensure accurate inventory of service equipment and supplies
- Professionally address and resolve guest complaints, keeping the Food & Beverage Manager informed
- Maintain attendance records and perform other duties as assigned by management
Position Requirements:
- Minimum Knowledge: Ability to interpret information and perform basic arithmetic, along with competence in typing, record keeping, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software. Familiarity with restaurant computer systems, especially POSI, is preferred. Strong communication skills are essential.
- Education and Experience: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience is preferred, along with a minimum of two years in a job-related role.
- Licenses/Certifications: ServSafe and TIPS certification are required.
Uniform and Appearance Guidelines:
- Uniforms and name tags will be provided. Team members are responsible for their own close-toed, non-slip shoes.
- Hair must be well-groomed, and any facial piercings or tattoos not covered by the work uniform must be approved by management. Offensive tattoos, as determined by workplace standards, must be concealed.
