We are seeking dedicated Food and Food Service Delivery Drivers who play a vital role in maintaining the country’s food supply chain. Position Overview:

This position entails operating a tractor trailer or straight truck for intrastate and interstate routes, including local, over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, and overnight deliveries. Drivers will be responsible for delivering and unloading food and related products in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Professionally engage with customers, vendors, and team members, ensuring accurate and timely communication.
  • Collaborate effectively within the team and fulfill any assigned duties to support company goals.
  • Conduct mandatory safety inspections of the vehicle and trailer, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.

  • Deliver customer orders following a predetermined route and schedule.
  • Unload products and transport them to designated storage areas within customer facilities.
  • Perform damage control checks on items, communicate with supervisors regarding any concerns, and adhere to company policy.
  • Verify delivery with customers and obtain necessary signatures and payments.
  • Ensure the security of the tractor, trailer, and freight at all times.
  • Manage the unloading of damaged goods and returns, completing required paperwork as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of service hours as per federal, state, and company regulations.
  • Execute general housekeeping duties in the tractor and loading dock, ensuring cleanliness and order.
