As a caregiver, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting residents with daily living activities, including transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment, which may encompass light housekeeping tasks.
  • Complying with all safety and health standards, including infection control protocols.
  • Monitoring changes in residents’ conditions and promptly communicating with supervisors.
  • Administering medications and injections according to medical charts.
  • Adhering to scheduled tasks, including the repositioning of residents.
  • Documenting medication administration procedures accurately.
  • Utilizing sound judgment to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.
  • Supporting other team members in their duties.
  • Completing all required documentation and charting.
  • Responding to call lights and assessing residents’ needs.
  • Assisting with meal trays and supporting residents during meals.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Availability to work every other weekend.
