Kingsley Senior Living Facility in Canton, MI is seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Staff to join our team. Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
  • Administer medications and deliver hands-on care to each resident as a primary responsibility.
  • Maintain cleanliness within the environment, which may involve light housekeeping duties.
  • Adhere to all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
  • Monitor and assess changes in residents’ conditions, communicating any concerns to the supervisor immediately.
  • Follow established schedules and assist residents with repositioning.
  • Ensure proper documentation of medications in accordance with procedures.
  • Utilize sound judgment in delivering care and ensuring resident safety.
  • Support fellow team members in their duties as needed.
  • Complete all required documentation and charting accurately.
  • Respond to call lights and assess residents’ needs promptly.
  • Assist with obtaining meal trays and support residents during meal times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Availability to work every other weekend.
