We ensure that you are adequately equipped with personal protective equipment (PPE) as you help those in need.

We seek caregivers to assist seniors and disabled adults with their daily living activities in their homes or care facilities located in Grand Rapids, MI. We are looking for individuals available to work between 4 PM and 8 PM, with the flexibility to commit to 2-3 shifts per week.

Your training will equip you with the necessary skills to succeed in this role; however, we value certain inherent qualities as well. We are looking for individuals who embody an honest, energetic, and approachable demeanor, capable of easily communicating with people at all levels. With a positive attitude and pride in your work, you will thrive under pressure and embrace challenges.

You should be comfortable assisting with a variety of tasks, which may include assistance with eating, personal hygiene, dressing, light housekeeping, and laundry. Although culinary skills are not necessary, you should be able to prepare simple meals and navigate a kitchen effectively.

Your responsibilities may extend to providing medication reminders, assisting clients with prescribed exercises, offering companionship through activities like reading or puzzles, and delivering care for individuals with dementia.

Must Haves:

• Minimum age of 18 years
• Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English as necessary for the role
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
• High school diploma or GED
• Meet the requirements for providing direct patient care
• Ability to pass a comprehensive employment background check
• Completion of a Competency Evaluation aligned with state licensing laws for home health agencies
