At Home Instead in Clawson, you will not merely be a caregiver; you will be a valued Care Professional (Care Pro).

We are seeking both part-time and full-time Care Pros to join our team, with flexible weekday and weekend availability. Recognizing the value of your time, we mandate that shifts be a minimum of four hours. Furthermore, we employ block scheduling to foster consistent and dependable schedules for our Care Pros.

Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will commence with traveling to your assigned client’s home. Given the varied needs of our clients, we thoughtfully match Care Professionals’ skills to those needs. Tasks may include light housekeeping, providing companionship, facilitating outings, accompanying clients to medical appointments, assisting with showers, toileting, medication reminders, dressing, grooming, oral care, escorting, transferring, and other Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) or Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs). Please note that skilled nursing tasks such as administering medications, injections, wound care, or therapy are not part of this role. You will collaborate with our Registered Nurse to ensure the highest quality of care for seniors in our community.

• Effective communication skills with clients
