Job description:

Responsible for ensuring a clean and organized store environment with a primary focus on floor care. Key responsibilities include operating the scrubber and buffer, as well as performing tasks such as dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning glass and windows. Adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards, while being cross-trained to support various areas of the store.

  • Exemplify established customer experience practices with both internal and external customers.
  • Foster a positive store culture grounded in honesty, integrity, and respect.
  • Maintain cleanliness standards for all flooring areas, proficiently operating the scrubber and buffer.
  • Uphold organizational cleanliness and recovery standards throughout the store, including the Sales Floor, Single Queue, Associate Lounge, Backroom, and Restrooms.
  • Comply with company policies regarding Health and Safety, including replenishing essential items in the Lounge, Restrooms, and Front End.
  • Support Front End coverage by being cross-trained in other areas of the store such as Backroom, Front End, and Sales Floor.
  • Uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
  • Initiate and contribute to store recovery as needed throughout operational hours.
  • Follow all operational and loss prevention controls in accordance with company guidelines to minimize shrink.
  • Communicate effectively with both management and associates.
  • Adhere to all labor laws, policies, and procedures, including those governing Associate meal and break periods.
  • Participate in safety initiatives to maintain a secure environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
