Job description:

As a Guest Services Shift Leader, you will play an integral role within our salon’s leadership team, reporting directly to the Salon Director. Your primary responsibility is to oversee the Guest Services team and ensure the seamless operation of Guest Services and overall salon operations. You will be instrumental in maintaining our dedication to exceptional guest care.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership:

  • Assist in training the Guest Services team in collaboration with the Salon Director.
  • Supervise front desk operations, retail, and guest services.
  • Prepare and optimize the Guest Services schedule for maximum efficiency.
  • Serve as a liaison for technicians in the absence of the Salon Director.
  • Set the standard for the guest service team by leading by example.
  • Collaborate with the Salon Director to manage retail supplies and timecard adjustments.

Guest Reservations:

  • Deliver outstanding guest care from the moment visitors arrive.
  • Ensure a welcoming environment through efficient check-ins and seamless check-outs.
  • Play a vital role in the salon’s opening and closing procedures.
  • Manage cash handling, bank deposits, and customer returns.

Product & Service Knowledge:

  • Maintain an aesthetically appealing retail area.
  • Stay informed on product lines to assist guests in making informed selections.
  • Participate in product knowledge training to provide expert recommendations.

Qualifications:
