A Key Holder works closely with the management team to oversee store operations and cultivate an engaging and inspiring environment for both customers and team members. This role encompasses driving sales, enhancing awareness of key performance metrics, and contributing to the growth and development of others.

Role Responsibilities:

Brand Experience

  • Serve as a brand ambassador, embodying company values, and collaborate with store leadership to create an engaging experience that resonates with the Free People customer.
  • Develop selling initiatives that elevate the customer experience, empowering the team to drive sales through personalized service, styling, and outfitting recommendations.
  • Provide a seamless, omni-channel shopping experience through adept understanding and utilization of systems and applications.

Leadership + Team Management

  • Operate as a proactive team member, exercising sound decision-making and multitasking abilities while prioritizing customer service above tasks.
  • Actively engage in managing the store environment and customer experience by maintaining an energized atmosphere, fostering team positivity, overseeing daily operations, and driving sales.
  • Take initiative in imparting product knowledge and brand messaging, equipping team members to deliver exceptional customer interactions using brand resources.

Visual + Business Operations

  • Support the store management team in daily office procedures and operational execution, ensuring efficient store maintenance.
  • Collaborate with key partners for effective shipment processing, restocking, and product placement while upholding Free People’s visual and display standards; ensure timely and accurate processing of omni-channel orders.
  • Adhere to safety standards, maintain inventory accuracy, minimize product loss, and uphold all company policies to support store profitability.

Communication + Relationships

  • Promote an inclusive, people-first philosophy by engaging employees at all levels, encouraging open dialogue, and ensuring that the store team feels valued and supported.
  • Remain informed and collaborate with the leadership team to facilitate communication, share information with the team, and actively engage in daily meetings.

Pay Range:
