Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care as needed (previous experience in total care is preferred)
  • Deliver personal care services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
  • Follow care plans accurately
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding
  • Manage laundry and light housekeeping duties
  • Adhere to infection control protocols, including proper hand hygiene
  • Report any changes in the client’s condition to the Registered Nurse
  • Document care provided and maintain accurate client records
  • Ensure a safe environment for clients and follow agency safety guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with all members of the interdisciplinary team
  • Treat patients and their families with respect while maintaining confidentiality
  • Accept assignments responsibly and exhibit good judgment
